 And the city of Bangkok is the capital of the Thai Kingdom, in addition to being larger than Thailand and is the administrative center of the Kingdom.

The population of Thailand

 Thailand ranks 20th by population in the world, with a population of 66 million people. Thais account for 75% of the population, while Thais of Chinese descent represent 14%, 3% are Malays and the rest are from multiple minorities. As for the language used in Thailand, it is the Thai language.

The official religion of the Kingdom of Thailand is Buddhism and therefore we find that 95% of Thais are Buddhists.

Economic growth in Thailand

 It is important to know the tremendous development of the Kingdom of Thailand, as it witnessed great economic growth, especially between 1985 and 1996. Therefore, Thailand became one of the new industrialized countries.

تقع تايلاند في جنوب شرق آسيا، ويحدها من الشرق كل من لاوس وكمبوديا، ويحدها من الغرب بحر اندمان وميانمار، ويحدها من الجنوب خليج تايلاند وماليزيا.

ومدينة بانكوك هي عاصمة المملكة التايلاندية، بالإضافة الى انها اكبر من تايلاند وهي المركز الاداري للمملكة.

تصنف تايلاند رقم 20 من حيث تعداد السكان عالميا،حيث يبلغ عدد سكان تايلاند 66 مليون شخص. ويمثل التايلاندون نسبة 75% من السكان، بينما يمثل التايلانديون من اصل صيني نسبة 14%، ونسبة 3% من الملايو والنسبة الباقية من اقليات متعددة.

وبالنسبة الى اللغة المستخدمة في تايلاند فهي اللغة التايلاندية. اما الدين الرسمي لمملكة تايلاند فهو البوذية ولذلك نجد ان 95% من التايلانديين بوذيين.

السياحة في تايلاند

من المعلومات الاكثر اهمية عن تايلاند انها دولة سياحية من الدرجة الاولى، حيث انها تتميز بالجو المعتدل طوال العام.

وعلى الرغم من ان مدينة بانكوك مدينة صاخبة تجتذب كثير من السائحين، إلا انه يوجد اماكن اخرى هادئة مثل مثل مدينة تشانج ماي، كما يوجد اماكن رائعة للقيام برحلات بحرية مثل جزيرة بوكيت. كما يوجد كثير من الاماكن المشهورة بحفلات الرقص مثل جزيرة Kho Phi Phi او Koh phangan او Koh Samui.

وباختصار مما سبق يتبين ان تايلاند بلد سياحي من الدرجة الاولى، ويرجع ذلك الى تنوع السياحة بها.
